Wedding: Aainaa & Adam

Although Danny works as a freelance photographer 5 years ago, he never try Malay wedding photoshoot. Thanks to Aainaa & Adam, giving us a chance to learn from their wedding day.

What we can say is, there is huge different in culture. Compared to Chinese wedding, Malay wedding is less tension. They enjoyed more than following the rules like Chinese does. And also, unlike Chinese, during Malay wedding, friends and family aren't necessary to give something like "Angpau", a present will do; as a sign of congratulation.

During the wedding day, the bride and groom wear their traditional custome. All are tailored-made, they don't rent from studio.

Adat nikah started when both the groom and tok kadi sat and shake hand with each other.
It takes an hour for this ceremony to be done.
Tok Kadi will talk about the roles of husband and wife, and also how to maintain marriage together.
In the end, some formal documents were signed for official documentation purpose.

Aainaa & Adam seems combining their adat nikah and bersanding on the same day. And thus, Aainaa was covered with tudung and selendang and their hands were dyed before that. If these stages were separated, they will dye their hands only after adat nikah and before bersanding.
